The Pas Minor Hockey Association Legacy Fund
Over the past 90+ years, excess funds have accumulated from the hard work of association fundraising, sponsorships, as well as extra unspent money raised from teams.
In the past few years, as our association changed our banking provider, this saved amount ended up being combined into our operational account.

By combining these funds, it created some confusion with our membership regarding the source, and purpose of the funding, which had always previously been earmarked for association expenditures and projects.
In order to serve our membership in a more transparent fashion, a Legacy Subcommittee was spearheaded by the 24/25 Executive at the beginning of the season. It was made up by current Exec members, current membership at large. Preliminary discussions included previous Executive, as well as a former President.
This subcommittee presented its suggestions to Executive on February 3, 2025, and it was passed by motion unanimously. (Minutes forthcoming)
