Hockey Manitoba Scholarships

The application deadline for all Hockey Manitoba scholarships is Tuesday April 1, 2025.

The game of hockey provides many teachable moments and some equally valuable life lessons. In addition to on-ice experiences and enjoyment, Hockey Manitoba recognizes the importance of a strong educational foundation, and is proud to offer seventeen (17) post-secondary scholarships to graduating student member athletes.  (Read more...)

 

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS & DETAILS

Hockey Manitoba Scholarship Application 

  • All graduating members eligible (players, coaches and officials)
  • Enrolling full time and receiving full time credits at a Canadian University or College
  • A Manitoba resident or a Hockey Manitoba member living in a border community
  • Submitted applications considered for sixteen (16) Hockey Manitoba scholarships
  • Applicants cannot be a carded Junior Hockey player
  • Scholarship amounts range from $500 - $1,500

Trudy Galloway Memorial Bursary Application

  • All graduating member officials eligible
  • Enrolling full time and receiving full time credits at a Canadian University or College
  • A Manitoba resident or a Hockey Manitoba member living in a border community
  • Submitted applications considered for Trudy Galloway Memorial Bursary
  • Scholarship amount is $750

Todd Davison Memorial Scholarship Application 

  • All graduating members eligible (players, coaches and officials) 
  • Enrolling full time and receiving full time credits at a Canadian University or College
  • A Manitoba resident or a Hockey Manitoba member living in a border community
  • Applicants cannot be a carded Junior Hockey player
  • Applicants must have risen above personal challenges in their life
  • Submitted applications considered for Todd Davison Memorial Scholarship
  • Scholarship amount is $1,000

Jerry Kruk Memorial Scholarship Application

  • All graduating members eligible (players, coaches and officials) 
  • Enrolling full time and receiving full time credits at a Canadian University or College
  • A Manitoba resident or a Hockey Manitoba member living in a border community
  • Applicants cannot be a carded Junior Hockey player
  • Submitted applications considered for Jerry Kruk Memorial Scholarship
  • Scholarship amount of $1,000 presented by Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame


Graduating members, if eligible, can apply for more than one of the scholarships outlined above. Please click on applicable scholarship application link for the application itself, additional criteria and requirements for submission.
