In a tight contest, The Pas Atom A Huskies got the better of Swan River Stampeders 3 - 2 at RHJA on Saturday. The Pas Atom A Huskies scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. The Pas Atom A Huskies gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the last period Swan River Stampeders outscored their opponents however The Pas Atom A Huskies kept its lead, and won the game.

In the third period, Swan River Stampeders put points on the board when Coral Zamzow put the puck in the net with an assist from Janna Werbicki, with 7:02 left in the period. The Pas Atom A Huskies's Ashton Paul netted a goal with 5:10 left in the period. Nathan Stevens and Seth Salamandyk assisted on the goal, evening the score. In the third period, then Jeremiah Tomchak put the puck in the net with assists from Daemon Titterton and Ashton Paul, with 8:38 left on the clock, to grab the lead and win. Pounding the defense, Nathan Stevens lit the lamp with an assist from Riley Ballantyne, with 11:27 left on the clock, to move further ahead. In the third period, Swan River Stampeders's Hannah Kitch netted an unassisted goal with 1:56 left in the period.

Ashton Paul scored one goal for The Pas Atom A Huskies and also had one assist. Nathan Stevens made one goal for The Pas Atom A Huskies and also had one point. Jeremiah Tomchak tallied one goal for The Pas Atom A Huskies. Titterton, Ballantyne, and Salamandyk each contributed one assist for The Pas Atom A Huskies.

Hannah Kitch and Coral Zamzow each tallied one goal for Swan River Stampeders.

In the crease, The Pas Atom A Huskies's Griffin Wadelius (G) got no saves on two shots to gain the win. In goal, Swan River Stampeders's Lauren Klatt got no saves on three shots to get the loss.

This was the first game for Swan River Stampeders.
