The Pas Female Atom Beaten By Thompson Tigers 6-2

Taylor Kristjanson smashes two goals and Thompson Tigers puts the squeeze on shooters to win the game on the road

Thompson Tigers was superior against The Pas Female Atom 6 - 2 at RHJA on Saturday. Thompson Tigers scored one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Thompson Tigers gained two goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period, Thompson Tigers scored three goal to The Pas Female Atom's 2 and kept the lead to win the game.

Thompson Tigers's Taylor Kristjanson scored two goals for Thompson Tigers. Coming through for Thompson Tigers, Kristjanson netted a goal with 6:40 left in the second period with an assist from Katelyn Farkas. With 9:27 left to play in the third period Kristjanson lit the lamp without assistance.

In the crease, Thompson Tigers's Paige Garson-Symons blocked no shots while allowing two goals to get the win. In goal, The Pas Female Atom's Makenna Blacksmith (G) had no saves on six shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

This was the first game for Thompson Tigers.
